Un encuentro en la estación de tren de Shihezi, mientras viajaba por Xinjiang, China

An encounter in Shihezi Train Station, while travelling in Xinjiang, China

Summer holiday in 2024, about August, on the way back to Shanghai from Xinjiang by Train, at Shihezi Train Station, Xinjiang, China, something wrong with my ID ( I think my ID was de-magnetic status ), at the security gate, I was unable to get in by putting my ID on that Security-check machine (Well, with the development of economy & IOT, China prefers applying those new technique to Mobile End, so that you would encounter more and more devices requesting a mobile phone for verification or check-out, even the traditional transportation, taking bus, when you are travelling in China)

So, I was stopped by a Lady Officer standing beside the Security gate, who asked me to take out my mobile phone to download 12306 APP, why? I claimed that I had taken my Driver Licence, well, she replied by something like, Driver Licence is not working in the Train Station, why?

I belive Driver Licence is one of Legislation Paper issued by Authorities while travelling around the world as a passport. If Driver Licence is not working in Train System in China, then that menas a pssport is not working in Train System in China?

Due to being in Xinjiang, China, all right, forget it, after downloading 12306 APP, (lucky enough, I got some GPS bandwidth), that Lady Officer showed me to apply a Temporary ID in 12306 APP

Finally, I passed the Security Gate, but a police stopped me arbitrarily, askimg me hand in my ID and then recite my ID number.

Awsome, unforgetable Travelling Experience in Xinjiang, China.

By the way, the Security workers are showing arbitrary attitude to passengers as well, when they are checking the luggages. They are checking stuff way too carefully. The other time, when I took off my jacket, a Lady Officer said, “if you took off cloth, the cloth must be scanned by Security Scan.” then I had to put my jacket on.
